December 2018 |
They say that we overestimate what we achieve in a year and underestimate what we can achieve within a month. Welcome to December, the last month of the 2018! For the end of the year, I have an exercise for you that has helped me a lot, couple of years ago. At that time, I had answers to some of the questions from the exercise, but the ones I could not answer have helped me even more. If you had all the freedom to design your ideal day that would continuously repeat in your life, how would it spend it? Imagine you had no restrictions: geographic, financial or others, and answer the questions: 1. In which city would you live? 2. At what time would you wake up? 3. Who would wake up next to you? 4. How would you spend your morning? 5. What would you do during the day? 6. Who would surround you? 7. Where would you have lunch and what would it be? 8. How would you spent time with your family? 9. What would fulfil you, what would be the main purpose of your day? 10. What would you do in the evening? 11. Whom would you have dinner with? 12. Where and what would you like for dinner? 13. What would you talk about? 14. Who would be next to you for bedtime? 15. With which thoughts would you fall asleep? ● What in your life is it still not as you would like it to be in your ideal day? ● What are your reasons to translate your ideal day into reality? ● How much pain and dissatisfaction will you experience if you don’t take action now? ● What is the first step that will bring you closer to your ideal day?
How can these insights motivate you to reverse inspiration into action? The best way to learn is by modelling those who already achieve the results we want. At our November training How to Become a Top Leader, participants modelled the most successful basketball coaches, learned from them and solved the challenges of leading the team that became demotivated. Learning took place within the team at the training, from personal past experiences and the trainers. The LA Lakers Coach, Pet Riley, explained elegantly: Overcoming the current success limits has become our habit and our system. What are your habits and systems while leading your team? Are you a leader you would like to follow? At our MANAGEMENT ACADEMY of SUCCESS, the leaders became learnt this clearly:
The new date of our exciting Advanced Negotiation training is: How to Improve Your Negotiation Skills One more amazing experience. After the very first training I had high expectations. Katarina Indjic
